Calvin has a Teaching and financial background but worked at the NZ Cement works at Burnside; in most departments, before becoming a Union Official. During and prior to his time at Teachers Training College he worked as a “Seagull” on the Wharf, Construction Sites, Retail, Warehousing, and a whole range of other work. General advocacy responsibilities for the Union.

Peter is a Qualified Plumber by Trade and has a very strong background in Trade Related Industries, both Manufacturing and Maintenance. Peter was President of the Plumbers Union before their Amalgamation with AWUNZ. Expertise in trade related/civil contracting/driving/servicing contracts.
